No experience with F250 but have just chipped my Jeep. Have a look at www.tdc-technologies.com
I ordered on Saturday and chip arrived in the mail today, not bad from the US.
Check out their product list they may have one to suit your vehicle. Prices are very very competitive compared to other makes on the market locally

Not personally, but a mates dad had one in his F250 2005 model and said it made a improvement> I never had a ride in it before it was sold, but my mate did drive it a few times and he reckons it Hauled Arse.

Mr Mulla,i also have a 05 f250 manual, whilst i do not have the chip i have heard of those with the auto & have the chip & they say they are awsome. However i have been on one of the USA sites that do the chips & cannot find a chip for the manual seems like they are only for the auto, unless someone can steer you in another direction for the manual we are stuck with the standard set up but to me that is not so bad either.

The only one I can find that can be used on a manual Effie is Evolution BD Programmer. Confirmed by BD and local Ford dealer in Perth.

Cunnamulla,
Mate of mine has put the stage two chip in and also put a bigger exhaust pipe on. After the dyno he had an extra 100 hp at the wheels, he's also fitted a pyrometer now just in case, he's now considering the stage three chip, this apparently has other complications so he's a bit more wary about this one.

ask here .. thats were you get your answers about that subject

Also you can purchase here ... these guys answer quickly ..

I have purchased a 4" dual exhaust and a Predator programmer from them
but not for a Ford ... they should be able to answer all your questions ...

With power mods you have to be very careful .. pyrometer pre turbo is a must
you gotta check EGT all the time .. good airflow is paramount .. AC Delco filters
are a good option .. larger exhaust is a factor but then you loose brake power (motor brake). Most guys who use chips have EGR blockers and lost their kitty ..

I was not so much interested in power mods from the Predator but more as a quick diagnostic tool and quick set for tire sizes and code resets .. the power mods is a side effect ... I also use autoegenuity diagnostics which can store power curves and load them on demand ...

do some research on the US sites and ask about the differences of the various options. I do not know the Ford engines good enough to tell which programmer is best ..

good luck
gmd
