G'day fellow 4x4ers, can someone tell me, at what service do they do a tappet adjustment on my 4.2TD 2003.

They should be checked / adjusted every 20,000km, ie. 20, 40, 60, 80,000km
services.

mine @ 40,000 set them @ 13 thou I set them, 1thou tighter than factory specs allowing for oil & the curvature on the rocker set up, 120,000ks still going
well. You can actually hear through the exhaust note & the clatter when they need doing.
