Howard T
Hi,
Am looking to replace the seats in my STD Series 80 with same series GXL buckets. Could someone let me know if there are any problems with fitting the Passenger
seat or are thread holes provided? I believe I have to take vehicle to main roads to have the change registered.
Thanks in advance
Howard.

Hi Howard,
I have done it on my standard. Fits to existing holes, no problems. Without having to drill new holes etc, I don't think it needs any approval.

Hey Howard,
Not sure what the standard 80 seats are like but the GXL ones aren't much chop if you ask me. I have a bit of a dodgy back and if I spend any length of time on the road my back just aches! But the GXL seats may be a big step up from standard. I just thought I'd throw my opinion in - I wouldn't spend too much on them that's all! ;-)
Cheers
Scoey.

Scoey, anything is better than the 3/4 bench passenger
seat ;-))). Picked
mine up from the wreckers and SWMBO is more than happy.

I replaced our passenger
seat in the 80 with a Commodore
seat from a 1994 model. I had to make an adaptor but the
seat is a bit higher than the standard but that suit SWMBO as she is not as tall as some and the
seat is really comfy.

Ignore Dozer's post
