batt drain

advice needed please, i have dual batt, most acc and amp wired to aux agm batt, no load on batt for 2 days, measured volts 12.51 15 hours later it was12.47 volts is this normal, i think it could be amp thats direct to batt and neg to a bolt from cargo barrier which has aluminum angle connected to support roof space storage, the sparky said aluminum is a good earth point as the bolt went toroof metal. thanks.

Your post is not clear but after charging any lead acid battery (an AGM is an LA battery) it is quite normal to see a drop in terminal voltage and 12.47 volts is reasonable - frankly, unless you have a quality multimeter, I would not expect it to be accurate to 0.3% anyway - I suspect you have no cause for concern.

0.04 Volts is not a drop over 15 hours !

Put an amp meter on it if you like but sounds fine to me.

Don't worry about it.

Batteries have an internal resistance and this will see them very slowly discharge over time. The drop you have recoreded is nothing and as others have suggested probably inside the error range of your voltmeter.

I'd be quite happy that everything is OK if this was my system
