Evening all,

I've probably got too much time on my hands but I made a DVD of our last "Boy's Trip" and was thinking how to improve the DVD next year.

There was an article in one of the 4wd mags a while back where someone has used a USB web camera mounted in a cheap $2 D cell torch body and water proofed with silicone. This was then mounted on the bullbar with the USB cable routed into the cab to his laptop. I thought a 'bullbar's eye view' may be interesting....

As I don't like the idea of my laptop bouncing around the truck on a boy's trip I was thinking how I could run a camera from a PDA. Does anyone know of a USB/Compact Flash or SD Card adapter? I've done the Googles bu no joy. Is this possible?

I still want the video camera free for 'footage on the run' without having to undo plugs/wire etc.

Thanks in advance,

Tim - Stratford.

one of the guys I work with does this, he has cut a small camera into the chin bar of his helmet and uses it whilst bike riding. He uses his handycam in a bum bag. His handy cam has an rca input for an external camera. He has zero problems with the bouncing around on the bike and both items have even survived various stacks.
