In a vehicle that has LSD as standard (eg 75 series Troopy)..
and a diff lock is fitted (eg ARB locker)..
Is the LSD still operative when the locker is NOT engaged..or does the fitting of the locker componens make it inoperative??

Hi
Sign-man
The locker replaces the LSD so that the diff is open until the locker is activated whether manually or automatically depending on the locker.

David

Sell the LSD and buy a open diff. When you need the lsd to work just turn the locker on.
You can make some money back this way:)

That is one down side to the ARB locker that you lose the limited slip diff for use on loose dirt & wet tar driving. The new Triton is the exception to the rule with an LSD diff & electric locker over ride. Now why doesn't Mr Toyo fit them?

In my case the locker was fitted a week after I first needed it!
