Have to say guys they one thing I _really_ don't like about it is the different format of the initial post in a thread against all the following posts. It, somehow, makes the connection of the two difficult - it's almost as if the first post blends in with the ads. and seems remote from what follows?

But see; when you make the post it stands out like dog's balls!

Tend to agree Mike, I don't like the lack of background to the top of page much either. Some of us have actually said it looks insipid, just some light shading would make all the difference, but perhaps a darker blue logo would be better. I did like the deifferential members bar too, but everything in the sky blues is a bit too much.

Also agree, I could not find the original post a couple of times! Top shading looks low quality. BUT I am sure this will all be taken into aco bleep when the series II comes out to fix the initial bugs.

My vote is for a 3 Hz RGB sequential flashing first post with fonts that change at about 1 Hz frequency...

Now THAT would stand out....

My wife has banned me wearing my favourite work shorts . They're extremely comfortable for working in. Sadly she informs me that only gay people wear shorts like them these days. SAY WHAAAT ?
They're a dirty oil stained greyish colour, not lemon, I hasten to add.
What's next ? Banning my Kahki shirts cause they make me look too much like a crocodile hunter? Banning my cap cause only bald guys wear em (and I'm not quite there). Banning my 4wd cause its overcompensation for whatever?
Whats the world coming to ?

The pages are clean and load faster. I like it.

If David had added some orange no one would have noticed the change.

Regards Derek.

Yeah I like the faster load times. Out here in the sticks we don't have EVDO or ADSL or Cable, so the broadband speeds' a bit down - quicker loading pages are good ones in my book.

Cheers

For what it's worth, LOVE the new format although I agree, it is difficult to identify the opening of the new thread. It is somewhat 'lost'.

I tried to load a 100KB image but it took so long I canned it. Does anyone know whether images are being blocked.
