I have the Engel. My mate bought a WAECO earlier this year. He was putting it in a car and in a clean ford ute.
I'd probably look at getting a WAECO if I was to get another Fridge. I like the fact that they are temperature controlled. Eg you can set a temperature on the digital readout and the fridge will hold that exact temp.
My Engel has the temperature gauge. But that gauge readout doesn't effect the running of the fridge.
I haven't had a problem with my Engel and I couldn't fault it. I'm hoping the metal case will last longer being thrown around my 75 series ute. But the WAECO reps say that the plastic that is used on the WAECO is just as strong as the metal.

Gob is telling lies cause I was there when the 2 x two legs Waeco's walked past.
Matter of fact I was 'around' when those Waeco's with their Waeco's were moving around 'cooling' the place down and showing off their 'control panels'
I would luv to see our fellow Waeco forumites, who are constantly querying their Waeco's 'light set up' , describe the 'setup/s' on the aforementioned Waeco's.
Ooooooooooooh! Rockcrawler, you are pure gold.

I thought the OBC twin set looked pretty nice too. Having just told Eric they were there, I went a different way towards a door to see one evacuating past me away from Eric.........

Ahh...men!! A short skirt, a tight fitting top and brand allegiances go right out the window!!
Ray and I "missed seeing these visions of splendour". I'll leave it to you to decide whether that was bad luck(for him) or good management (on my part)!!
