Just searching around and this caught my eye. Has anyone seen one on OZ. Looks like it would be a lot more compact than a Coleman.

Looks like it uses the same coleman disposable gas bottles but has a more robust & compact burner. No doubt only a matter of time before a distributer picks it up, particually at the price they're asking (even after the exchange rate)
Cheers Craig..........

Dave,
The site is US so the 100 degrees is most likely Faht. Equates to 38 Cent. A long way off boiling but OK for a warm shower. Probably no good for anything else. Being good old US of A they would probably risk being sued if anyone scalded themselves using it LOL.

Mike.

David

At first glance I thought b u g g e r - about 2 hrs ago bought a Coleman.

However on a closer look its sourced in USA at USA pricing, which with freighting etc gets it up past the Coleman.

I say this because the Coleman I just bought cost $289 from K-Mart (Melbourne) as one of their specials for the week.

I spent 6 hours at the Melbourne 4WD show today and none of those theiving
b a s t u r d Colemman sellers were within coo-ee of that price.

So I just called into K-mart on the way home and bought one incl. carry bag, collapsable water bottle, pump, shower hose and some other 'doover lackey'.

This USA item is more compact, I'll give it that and looks like a more robust article.

The only reason I bought the Coleman was to shut SWMBO up. So it will do.

That! trailer is going in to have the final mods done this week (construction wise) so by the time I get it back and complete the 'fit out' how I want it, it will most probably see its first trip in December to the X-mas soiree behind the JEEP.

Yep! that JEEP is going to get a workout in the High Country. (Not to far for a recovery home) (LOL)

Haven't unpacked the Shower yet of the new Honda 2.0 Gennie.

Thanks for your info re 'Grahams of Queanbeyan' assisted me greatly in 'talking the talk' to the Honda boys. Eventualy got it for $1,925.00 with the $200 cash back
= $1,725.00 all up and wheeled into the back of the JEEP for nix.

I think I got a good deal, however you never know with those thieving Show cootas ( all of them included in that description)

Bed time now.
