Afternoon all!
We are planning to head up to the high country mid Nov for a few days. 3 vehicles (patrol, prado, hilux), all are slightly modified with mud terrain tyres and high clearances. All drivers are experienced 4WDers. We have been to the high country last christmas and travelled blue rag track, billy goats
bluff, zeka track, hern spur track and areas around wonangatta valley,
talbotville and
dargo. We are looking to go somewhere different - maybe around the
lake cobbler area? but we're open to suggestions! We are looking for a bit of a challenge but nothing too crazy (none of the vehicles have diff lockers), and we tend to avoid the
main camp grounds as we just use swags so don't need much space.
I've done a bit of an archive search and written down some suggestions from there but just in case there are any new recommendations i thought i would ask the question!
Where would you recommend to go in the high country? which are the 'best' tracks in your opinion?
Thanks in advance!
