Hi drove over for the national 4WD show in Melb on the week end (from
Adelaide) left friday 5 pm back Staurday 12 am.
Worth the trip to see things not at the
Adelaide show. Campers, _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx and the like.
The more I look the simpler it becomes I need one of everything so I can adjust to the changing trips and
camping requirments. What suits me know will not in two years time or if i do the next trip with or without my camper.
Still I sure the wife wont mind a shed full of
camping gear to chose from.
Any way the economy.
I put a snorkle on some months ago and have been ver disapointed with the economy since. That is until I could do a proper trip and check..
Adelaide to Melb staying strickly on the legal speed 734 km out of 102 ltrs 13.9l per 100k (15 to 20 od km runing around before leaving)
Melb Adel 5km over the legal speed 702km on the first 90ltr 12.8l per 100 km. not completly acurate but much happier with the result which is down from about 19l per 100km when I first put the snorkle on.
NB no real weight in the car apart from me (enough of the fat jokes)

well

Hi Trev
Wandered round the show all day saturday our selves , thought it was worthwhile
espically as it was so easy to get 1/2 price tickets on-line however I don't think I'd drive from
Adelaide to see it.
Is it a petrol prado , 13.8 sounds a little high , my 4800 petrol patrol only used 14.6 on same trip a few weeks ago , loaded to the hilt.
Always good to know things like economy before any mods as so many of them make a car worse in small , hard to measure ways.
