G'day - we're off this weekend - taking all next week as
well - heading to the
Grampians (West Vic) - - may head further north, maybe Mungo if the weather packs it in down south - can't wait. Anyone else making a long weekend of it and heading off anywhere interesting?
We've just bought a Suntech 80w solar panel - foldable - so want to try it out before we do anything big with it - just gauge how long we can get out of it in Victoria (notoriously cloudy place) - mainly to run the fridge and lights - anyone else got one of these - we found they sold them just down the road from where we live - so after traipsing all over the place looking at them - we go 5k from home - typical.

I too live in Victoria and will be very interested to hear how you solar panel goes. Can I ask where you got it and how much you paid for it ?

G'day - got it from Suntech - in Simcock Street Somerville - 80 w foldable model -
around $970 gst inclusive - had regulator and wiring included as
well as a
well made carry bag which will be very handy I think - the guy also makes buoy lights and marine lights solar powered so they know what they are doing. (we hope).
Anyway will update on our return in 10 days time - yehhhh!!!
