Hiya pojo,
wasn't me, but I was there last week for a wedding at the nymboida coaching station (wow). My mum grew up in Grafton and I still have plenty of family there, and you are right a spectacular time of year.

Its a nice setup at Nymboida isn't it. I stayed there last July and was quite impressed. The hosts are good people too....

They were alright with me but nearly made my cousin cry on her wedding day, apparently this is a regular occurance with weddings.
rumour has it that russel crowe owns it and the lady running is connected to him in some way. only rumour though.

Now that's not right!!!!
The Mother in Law usually does that at the wedding....

We were coming back from the Gold Coast and I wanted to go through Armidale so we went that way. It was beginning to get dark and we/she decided that it would be a bad idea to drive any further on a road I did not know. It just happened that the Coaching Station was right around the next bend when this decision was reached and I said let's try it.

Nice big room with spa bath etc.
Nice dining room and food.
Continental brekky
and it wasn't all that dear from what i remember.....

Hi Pojo,

Might have been us in white 100 LC. In Grafton for a little while and of course impressed by jacarandas - nice town and very nice surrounding countryside. We'ver been on the road for more than a year now and have only seen 2 other vehicles with ExplorOz wheel covers and interestingly the second one was yesterday also in Grafton. It was a (?LC, ?Patrol) trayback with camper on back. Unfortunately it flashed past me in the opposite direction on the back of a truck missing right rear wheel - I saw wheel cover in rear vision mirror. Not what we like to see. Hope all OK.

Mark
