I'm looking at purchasing a mitsubishi challenger at auction, the challenger comes with an optional LSD but is there any way I can be sure it has an LSD without driving the vehicle or jacking it up and turning the rear wheels? The LSD comes in an option pack with two tone paint and cruise control so I guess I could assume if these features are present an LSD is present. If possible thought I'd like a little more concrete evidence than judging it by the paintjob. Any help greatly appreciated.

Cookie.
The diff has a metal tag under one of the bolts warning of the limited slip, if you look at one in a dealers yard you can see what the tag looks like.Eric.

Just a little aside from the original post but I am thinking of buying a Challenger also and would like to know if anyone has experience towing a full van with it. Given that the tow weight is 2270. but has does it perform?
