Hi all

I cant believe the difference. I fitted a 93 Pulsar steering wheel to my GQ and it has made the whole feel of the car much better. It is smaller without being too small and thicker to cope with my ageing hands. The main thing is it does not feel like i am driving a bus anymore. Has anyone else done this and if so what are you thaughts.

I had a mate with a smaller wheel on a MQ and it was tritchy to drive and offroad it was a menace, not enough leverage to counteract the force the wheels were pulling on the steering wheel.

lots more room in the drivers seat tho.

Steve, did the Pulsar steering wheel fit and bolt on without any mods?

My son has fitted a smaller after market steering wheel to his GQ. He is 6 ft 4 and had trouble getting into the vehicle with the original wheel. Problem is, with the new steering wheel, we have not been able to connect the horn.

I'm figuring the pulsar wheel would overcome this problem. Is that right?

The Pulsar wheel is a perfect match. When the guy was removing it from the pulsar i noticed that the wiper, indicator switch, horn switch and housing was the same as the GQ . ten minutes work and its done. I am yet to try it off road but on road it is great
