Some more progress - I have spent the last few hours working to make an updated build of ExplorOz that supports 800x600. It is now installed and is working - I have set my screen to 800x600 and am using the system. It is not 100% right on every page however the majority of pages are working correctly. The ones that are not 100% are fine to read and use - these will get resolved as we migrate the remaining pages of the site to the new format.

So hopefully those with the lesser resolution of 800x600 will now work fine, however the best resolution for ExplorOz and the bulk of Internet sites is 1024x768.

Enjoy and please report any issues - this has been a major change to the code that controls the site with minimal testing due to the late hour I installed it. Take care.

David,

It works well on my work computer at that resolution.
It was painful to use yesterday but now no problems in the world as yet.

Thanks muchly

Hi David

My setting was higher than 1024x768 but now that I have reset it to 1024x768 the page comes up Full Screen. Thanks for the advice.

Cheers

Pepper2,

Should be faster as the new set-up uses heaps less HTML code. It may be a transient error as it is very fast at this end. However having said this I have not re-written the forum code yet this is on this weeks task list. We will keep working on it.
