Thanks Michael
The special price helped.

The other reason was to knock Willem off the bottom of the list of SA members as he must be due for promotion with all his knowledge, he must be reaching 100 with all the stuff he has done :))) lol.

Cheers

Thanks Des Lexic
I have been viewing the forum topcs for some time and have enjoyed many of the responses, good natured solutions and jibes at the characters on board.

I recently met one of these characters and it was not a pretty sight :))) lol. Truckster (Bruce the shoelace man)is a sight to not to behold but is certainly outspoken on plenty of issues.

Cheers

I too have met Truckie and I agree he is not a pretty sight. To meet him in a dark alley late at night could be a frightening prospect. LOL

Des
At least in the dark his features are hidden.
lol
I know he cannot respond at the moment as he should in the Flinders this week.

He was at Beachport on weekend with the normal windy wet weather that should be left in winter only.

Des, Truckie rang here yesterday and knows where you live. He was actually after Willem's number. You may get a call when he has laid all his rubber round the Flinders.

G'day Z'nZ, welcome aboard. So you met Bruce?

Probably not something anybody should own up to but yes.

He initially made contact on here some time ago about finding more info about Beachport area and I suggested our club could arrange a night run for the Nissan guys last weekend.

They turned up with about 20 members, and had a good time.

Thanks
Well if you have reached grandparent stage like I have I think we can be whatever category we want and bugger to those who do not like it. We are the senior clan who do not have to answer to parents (in many cases) and even if we do by this stage we would not listen anyway. I have at different times been place in most of the above.

Hahahaha the grandparent stage. As you pointed out, freedom to say and do whatever you like LOL It's no wonder grandparents get on so well with their grandchildren :)))))))

Yeah
Generally get on well with my five grandchildren however on weekend got one upset.

9 year old decided to be a smart ass at the airport trying to climb over the handrail on a moving travelator (a flat moving walkway) he lunged out and knocked a drink container out of my hands so I told him off. He spat the chewie and later when I said to him "show adults respect and we will show you respect" he started crying even though he tries to act tough. There was no malice other than letting him know he passed the point where his action was downright rude. Next time I see him I bet he will behave better.

Usually can spoil them rotten (raspberry Cordial to hype them up) then send them home at end of day for the parents to calm them down. What a bugger:)) HaHa LOL

Must not forget the SKI principle as well - "Spend Kids Inheritance" better for me to enjoy my hard work than to pass the money on after I die.

Selfish Bugger! Tough! Let the kids go through the school of hard knocks otherwise they will not appreciate what they get by freeloading.

:))))))

Just as well the kids don't know I visit this site otherwise they may consider the nursing home well before I may be due for such placement.

Crazy
When someone calls me Mr they must be very young or think I should be shown respect. Hell I do not even get called Mr at work by the office girls, usually it is more light hearted cheeky banter. Always given and received in fun though.

Mrs Z does not know about this recently aquired bad habit (forum) but I am sure the MInister of Finance will find out on the next bank statement. No problem though as she is a kept woman, as I cannot afford to give her away as it would cost me half of my Super fund :)))) Besides I would not want to give her up, she is a great cook.

Funny stuff Mr Zed.
If you have trouble with the missus concerning your forum 'obsession', find her a forum about what her interests are; worked for me. What's good for the goose......

Welcome

Luckily/Unluckily she seems to find things to do without much prompting, and these activities usually cost money, things like shopping for the grandchildren, craft activities and the local Lioness group, but somehow when I spend money it is often a case of "you don't really need that do you" or "what do you want that for". Answers often yes and becasue I need it for the car seems to cover it. Solution is go spend it before I tell her then bit hard to return the goods. :)))).

Cheers
