On my way back from picking a consultant up from Newman I was passed on a blind corner on the dirt road to Nullagine doing 90kph by a telstra 4.2 patrol. Bloody D*&^ckhead i thought how do people drive like that and get away with it......................... They dont! 30k out of Nullagine there is the Patrol on its side with big looose marks around the corner. IDIOT He was ok so we gave him a lift into Nullagine. Only a younf fella - hope he learnt something

Hi Davoe,
Oh yes, they certainly did,.
I know a guy who had a second (replacement) 3.0L motor blow in his Telstra GU.
Besides, Nissan claim that the only motors they have had blow are either Police or Telstra wagons.

Not only telstra....... On my way back from birdsville races I left the day after the races and was probably the most difficult drive I have ever done. It was like driving in fog (thick Dust due to the amount of cars leaving) and at times, had to slow down to 20kph due to lack of Vis. At one point I was sitting on 80 on the dirt and a country energy 4wd came hurtling past at a very unsafe speed. Needless to say after he overtook on a blind corner my windscreen will not pass next rego.......... This happened when my ute had only 7000ks on it. Was a very dangerous overtaking manouver and our dollars pay for the destruction of these government vehicles.
