Magellan gps

Hi,

Need some help please.
I have a Magellan Meridian platinum.
The problem I have is on the map screen when I put in a GOTO and pick the waypoint I want to goto it draws a line to the waypoint all ok so far but when I
move the line stays from were I was to the waypoint instead of from my position
can I fix this in setup. Any help would be nice.

Not sure on your specific problem, but you may need to update the firmware if you have happened on a bug.

Try e-mailing Magellan support with your question, they were pretty good when I had a few queries.

It should be possible- my Meridian Color does what you are wanting yours to do. The software should be the same and I haven't updated the software for several years. Can't tell you how to fix it though. I'll need to have a bit of a play with my unit to see if I can find out how to do it. Cheers

Haven't got some menu request to go to a particular waypoint Phil have you? You could reset the system.

Hello - from the map display window go into menu - map set up - display. Here you will see a lot of check boxes - uncheck the box that says Depart-Dest Line (departure to destination line) and check the box that says Pos-Dest-Line (position destination line)

Please tell me more on sys reset

It is just a bit annoying when driving using the map screen and the line to the waypoint gets left behind would be great if the line to the waypoint was always from my current position not a hundred k behind.
