Sales figures tell the real story.
Its all about what people are parting with their hard earned for.

Perhaps the proliferation of Toyotas and Nissans as the members' preferred choice of vehicle is only an indication of their owners desire for acceptance amongst their peers, thus the need for "membership". This would also explain the vociferous nature of any debate over comparisons between the two.

After all 81% of Australian males nominate Coca-cola as their drink of choice, yet in blind taste tests 89% prefer Pepsi.

Makes you wonder!

I can tell the differance between a rum and coke and a rum with Pepsi in it blindfolded , standing on my head in a snow storm ,as for 4x4s I like the one that gets me there and back in one piece .PeterYork4x4

I rest my case.

Why the need to justify your choice of Coca-cola?

Whether you drink C or P (or drive T or N) is personal choice. It is only insecurity which drives us to preach the merits of our choice, or the need for acceptance which necessitates our need to put our hands up as conformers (even if we are standing on our head in a snow storm).

Ask yourself "Why?" next time you are trying to convince someone that your choice or opinion is the correct one.

I wish the World leaders would!

Thank you for the nomination Mal.

If only I could find a way to bottle the sound of my one year old daughter's laughter and amazement at occurences which appear totally insignificant to us and despatch samples to the warmongers.

Wombat, I don't drink Coke or Pepsi.

I purchased a vehicle that fitted very particular current requirements (having previously owned and loved the other make).

I don't know how good or bad the current versions of the LC or P are as hey weren't on my shopping list.

As I'm obviously not seeking acceptance (except from you, of course), dos that mean I should recind my membership?Be good, or be quick.

I wish the waring factions would settle it the way two New Zealand phone companies did the other day , instead of going to court of rights to a certain area it was settled out of court with a best of 3 wrist restle Peter York 4x4

I knew I should have keeped my fingers off the keys ,a simple observation can set the wheels in motion of a great debate ,I think next time I have a comment on A verses B or C I will just go home and tell my dog , he will ride in any 4x4 as long as he gets the front seat .hahaha Peter York4x4

Wombat, you don't need to bottle it. The fact that you 'heard' it means that you will never forget it. How does a person of such obvious enlightenment end up on a forum like this?
