I am about to purchase a satellite TV set up for the camper and l would appreciate any comments or views in relation to Coship Satellite receivers and the pro or otherwise of satellite dishes that have a folding arm as opposed to one you remove for transporting.

I don't know the Coship. I would stick to the more mainstream brands like Strong, Humax or even Opentel. I personally have a Strong that I use for recieving SelecTV. Don't kid yourself that aligning the dish is easy as it will take longer than the 5mins than the link from the post below advertises. But it's very satifying when you get it all set up and it all works.

would not take longer than 3 mins to setup sat dish. Check the electronic compass stand behind the dish and aim and then stand behind dish with meter and tweek and picture.
after much experience try Satplus prices great service excellent and do not sell rubbish or cheap stuff that does not work proper.

I reckon thier price of $800ish for the kit is expensive. Look on ebay. I picked up a Strong receiver for $140. Dish is $50 plus you need to work out if you want auroa or selecttv etc, sat finder etc. Can do it for a lot less shopping around.

folding arm dishes are troublesome as you cannot aim properly and setup. first had folding arm as idea seemed great and got right bleep eredoffa
now have dish like this and 50 time easier to setup and aim.
