Challenger one
Recently bought auto 2002 Challenger less than 50k on the clock but it has not been in 4wd since new and now it does not want to go in. I have removed and cleaned and tested two switches on top of rear of transfer case they now work out of the vehicle, low range switch does work when transfer put in low range no 4wd but the top one does not switch off when it is replaced in box and you move transfer lever I tried unplugging switch no 4wd when I switch motor off the front hubs do engage.
HELP PLEASE
John

We have had a 2002 Challenger since new and are very happy with it. The 4wd didnt want to engage couple years ago and the best solution we found was to put it in high 4wd and leave it while we drove a few k. The vaccuum gradually pulled it on and it began working. Nowadays we engage high every few months so the grease doesnt go too sticky and it works whenever we need.
