Hi there,
Just wondering if any one has had any problems with the cheaper exhaust jacks like the ones available on ebay.As I'm looking to buy one,at this stage I don't intend to use it to often.
Cheers,
Clayton.

Do yourself a favor mate !
Get a good one, the day you will really need it, you will be let down, they are under $300.
And remember, to only jack from the sides ,, as front or rear lifting will cause your vehicle to " slew ", thus causing, a very dangerous situation.
Cheers Mate

Have a look at post number 30441. At the top of the page (of the
forum index) is a box to the LHS of 'Search For'. Type in 30441 and hit enter.....Keith

Clayton
I had one once when I had my Rocky, and silly me went and sold it , now I wish I had one again, I read the past posts about them with a laugh, Anyhow I thought I would be a clever dick and show my Dad how it worked, set it all up under the left side , started the engine and mate it worked fine,....until I decided that that was enough and run around to turn the key off of which I did but the bloody Turbo Timer kept it going, BIG panick to reach the red button , I thought the car was going to roll or the bag bust but everything turned out OK and my Daughter was near rolling on the ground in laughter,Dad took a few steps back too ,he thought it was going to explode.
But yes to have another one would be better than digging holes to bury a spare trye for an anchor

Yeah cheers
I reakon they are a must for sand work with no winch, as always it's always tempting to buy a cheaper brand. Was looking at a couple on ebay around the $130 - $180 mark. Was wondering if anyone has had a good run out of the non "big brands"?
