Our club Driver Trainer got a Non Turbo for $32k..
Spent $3k on a DTS Turbo, and has better power than the Nissan GU 4.2 Turbo and cheaper!

www.redbook.com.au is your best bet. thats what the dealers use to price things.

Sean, I have just been through that all. I only looked at ST's as I needed the rear seats. Late models 2001 onwards were about the $45k mark. This was with around 60000 ks on them. I had to ring dealers all around the place and ask them to keep a lookout for one and contact me as soon as they got one because they go like hot cakes. I ended up with a mid 1999 with 96000 on it for $38k. I was happy with that, as the newer ones were out of my price range. I traded my 2.8TD GQ on it and the difference in performance between them is monumental. I certainly wouldnt ever go back to a small engine in such a large truck!!!
Hope this helps. Phil

Phil

Looks like the Pre 2003 GU 4.2Turbo are gonna be real keepers, with a high resale for those that sell them. Now I just gotta find a good one myself.

Thanks

Sean
