Hi Brad,
Can just see Dad coming home to the 4by with electrical wiring hanging out of the doors and over the bonnet etc. Hahahaha.
Good onya for having a go mate.
From memory, someone may correct me here and I could be wrong, it is a black square box (approx 2cm square) mounted to the firewall towards the top and to the left of the brake pedal. ( Between the top of the brake pedal and the steering column )
Bit more info might help to locate the problem, ie. is the green light flashing on the dash, is there any 'clicking' sound, or is there absolutely nothing when you turn them on ?

Good chance it's the flasher unit, not sure how to check them other than check if there is power going in and then power coming out when you turn the indicators on, either that or slip down to superchit and grab a spare then see if it works, (problem with this is it gets expensive if that is not the problem) hopefully some knowledgable auto leccy will come on soon and give you more help.
Sorry I can't be of more help mate.
Cheers
Pezza

Check the
hazard swich is not pushed in & fuse isnt blown for them. the fuse for
hazard's is in fuse box under bonnet.
