As a fellow Fronty owner I can say you probably won`t get too many answers here, because they aren`t very popular vehicles here on this
forum. The best place for advice on he Fronty is here -

Good luck,

Forgot to mention, the complete service manual can be picked up from Ebay for $10 plus postage (I`m not selling them, it`s where I got
mine from). Covers all models from 1999-2001.

Assuming it's the V6.
Grab a piece of paper/cardboard, and draw all your pulleys plus which way the serpentine belt goes.
At first glance it looks as though you have to somehow get the belt around the fan, but this is not the case.
Grab a ratchet and socket, place on the tensioner pully nut, and lever as though tightening
the nut (or maybey loosening, can't remember exactly.) You will then be able to remove the old belt quite easily. When you let go the ratchet, the tensioner will move further than where it was but this is OK.
Then, using your map, replace the belt over the pulleys and finally turn the tensioner the same way again and slip it over.
It's easier than it looks.

Hey there bobcat,
I am at work now and have a copy of the genuine workshop manual. It doesn't say very much about how to replace the belt but has a good picture of how all the pulleys are located with the belt around them.
I have saved the relevant section as a Pdf file and it is probably best if you want it I could email it to you.
Let me know.
Steve
