Thanks to all those kind forumites that answered my previous post regarding my ATU not being able to tune to VKS Ch5.
I changed ATUs over on Friday night and the problem persisted. After a 10 second head scratching I thought that the only thing left to change was the coax - BINGO! The coax measured fine to DC but obviously had a bit of a complex towards RF.
What was really odd, though, is that the Codan aerial is resonant near 4MHz and the problem I had was at 3.995MHz. One would have expected this freq to be okay and all others untunable. I guess the moral here is that RF can act really odd at times.
Thanks also to the VKS737
Adelaide Base operator last night (David) who went to Ch5 for me during the sched to ensure that everything was
well at my end, which it now is.
Best regards to all, Craig.

No probs there Craig- although it was a very noisy copy, not from your end but crashing 'electrical' interference.

I didn't notice the noise LOL. By the way, I was in my driveway so was more than happy with the copy :) Thanks again for all the help mate.
