"...apparently large trucking companies are buying large numbers and hyundi are fitting them to vehicles in usa ..."

Let me guess, THEY told you that????

Interesting to see if Hyundai in the USA ARE actually selling them in new vehicles, and why they are not sold in their new vehicles anywhere else. Might be worth a fun email to find out............(Hyundai might have a bit of "legal-speak" to do to the promoters too)

If it is similar to the Futch (Kiwi pronunciation so as not to highlight a (previous?) sponsor) then it has been well and truly discredited by several members on this board.

Yep!

One of our membes did buy and then return one of these units.

He may care to come along later and give you an outline on the exercise.

It was interesting to note that when he contacted the supplier to tell him the product was coming bck the supplier tried to talk him into adjusting back the amount of fuel deliveredby the fuel pump. That's certainly one way of gaining an reduction in consumption.

Thankyou young Luc' (if I may be sooo bold as to use your shortened name..)

The Shoo Roo has now gone the same way as the Futch; although having had the ShooRoo for about 10 years, it was a little past it's warranty period).

Don't know anything about the FuelMate gizmo, by I'd almost be willing to bet next week wages on it being in the same class as the Futch (ie: gold coke can full of godknowswhat).........

Oh, they obviously worked Ms Lucy.

Seem to remember there was a Lucy in that book of last century, "The World of Suzy Wong" Not related to you? Perhaps the Shoo Roo worked there too. Gee that was a long while ago.......

I just wish I could dream up some device with a credible explanation as to how it works and sell them to the unsuspecting motorist.....
Wait a minute.... I have a formula for car wax that absorbs/deflects radar & laser speed monitoring devices. Very expensive 50ml for $427.99 but does 52 applications...

Remember back in the olden days when a bloke on the back of a wagon would sell elixer that cured everything from warts to bad manners.

Well.....I don't really but, it is still going on today only the presentation is spiffed up and the product hasn't changed in all those years.
