Can anyone direct me to a site that I can ID which model (and year) all the landcruisers are.
I hear 60 series, 100 series etc but don't have a clue which is which or how old they are. I am in the process of getting ready to but a good used 4B and need help (in all sorts of ways I guess) to be able to know what I am talking about.
I'll even accept SA comments regarding Patrols and other brands - Please address all replies to: Dear Confused.....
Grrr!!!

A good website is redbook. It will give you all specs, values and a picture of heaps of different types of vehicles. The site link is
www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/
Use the right hand side of that page to enter the private research function.
On the left hand side of the next page go to the used car values, click it, then pick your vehicle. I shall use
mine as an example.
Mine is toyota. Click the model, landcruiser, then the year you want, 1995. Then choose the redbook code or the model you want to look at. toyo95GH or HZJ75RV RV Hardtop 6st 2dr Man 5sp 4x4 4.2D
After that you can select a picture, the specs and it will also give you a value of what they think the vehicle is worth.
Hope this helps.

REdbook will give you all the fine details. But simply:
Station Wagons:
55series: FJ55: to 1980
60series: 1980-1990 - eg HJ60, FJ60, HJ61
80series: 1990-1998 - eg FJ80, FZJ80, HZJ80, HDJ80
100series: 1998-2006 - eg FZJ105, HDJ100, HZJ105
Commercial:
40series: up to 1984 - eg FJ40, BJ42, HJ47, FJ45
70series: 1984-2006 - eg HJ75, BJ73, FJ73,
78,79series: after 1999
Diesel use H or B as a prefix
Petrol use F as a prefix
