hi all, can some one please give me a link or answer,
what models of landcruisers came out in 97 with a 1hd-ft engine.

The 80 series Landcruiser in gxl, 40th annaversary or sahara. hdj80 is the model.

This site claims the 95 HDJ80 model was the 1st to get the 1HD FT
I think 98- onwards got the 1HDT FE

Yep, 1HDFT came out in 1995, but ceased with the 80series in 1998.
For a couple of years, there was no TD option until 2000, when the 100series TD with 1HD-FTE was released.
