I keep getting e-mails from Oz readers on subjects I have not had an import in. Obviously someone else is not getting their e-mails

Ray

Might pay to click on "abouit Us" above, then "Contact Us" to ask David or Michelle to check the problem out. Soiunds a site technical issue.

Cheers

Mate, don't post/no problem.

No, that was both rude and uncalled for: I enjoy similar problems. Although I kid myself that I fup less often now than earlier, a post will often appear way out of expected sequence. MAYBE if I could find the Manwell, then I would read it.

Ray,

As per the email copies you have sent me - each of these were in fact posts that you have directly interacted with. The email flow is basically as follows:

You will be emailed for every reply to a new thread you start.
You will be emailed for every follow-up recorded against a reply you post.
If you submit a follow-up you will be sent a copy of all subsequent follow-ups to that reply.

If you do not want to receive these emails then use you can de-select Forum Email from your Email Profile at www.exploroz.com/Users/MailProfile.asp

Just a comment on the e-mail flow consistency: it doesn't really matter but if I "Reply" to a thread I have started I receive an e-mail copy of my own reply whereas if I "Follow-up" to any reply I don't receive an e-mail copy of my follow-up.

Mike,

This is correct and is as per my info above. In general you should not receive replies to your own however in the case of a Reply to your own thread this currently does happen. It will not when the next release of the forum is completed in a couple of weeks.
