For those interested I found this on a toyota press release website...it was released on 25th of october so may be old news

Toyota has unveiled a powerful new 3.0-litre Turbo-diesel engine for Prado, providing substantially more power and torque.

The new common-rail direct-injection four-cylinder engine lifts maximum power more than 32 per cent to 127kW and peak torque almost 20 per cent to 410Nm.

Prado's new Turbo-diesel engine develops 127kW of power at 3400rpm and 410Nm of torque from 1600rpm all the way to 2800rpm.

The new engine also complies with Euro IV emissions standards.

Prado will gain other technical and specification improvements when the revised models are released in late November.

Prices and full details will be released closer to launch.

Prado represents one in every five medium SUVs sold in Australia and Kluger represents 8.5 per cent of this segment.

Official VFACTS figures show total sales for Prado have exceeded 107,000 since the range was introduced to Australia in 1996.

Petrol Prado models continue with the 4.0-litre VVT-i Quad Cam V6 engine, which produces maximum power of 179kW.
