In the tradition of acknowledging great service. instead of polyairs, I had Aussie Super Springs fitted to my 60 Series Toyo a bit over 12 months ago at TJM, Main Rd North,
Adelaide. I have been very pleased with the super springs assistance to the rear leaf springs and the improvement in ride. But, back LHS one collapsed. TJM not only replaced the back LHS super spring with new, they put a new one on the RHS as
well, even though it looked OK. to make sure everything was matched. The usual disclaimer, apart from being a very satisfied customer, I have no connection with TJM.

I have been in that
shop looking for accessories several times. They answered my questions ok.
Mind you i looked at the prices of the parts i was looking for and decided to buy second hand, but that's beside the point.

You are quite right Andrew, that was the lean you spotted. And yes, I'm smiling. I should have added, they even gave me a cut on the recommended price of a Waeco cover while I was there.

I have had occassion to deal with them over the phone for postage items. Must say I was impressed with the efforts they went to.

Yes, another vote for the guys there. They did my dual battery system in the Prado which has been great over 2 years or more.
Only problem is the prices. Sure there must be a lot of people who go in there and pay full freight prices but gee they have some room to move! I got $100 off an $800 battery setup that included everything I wanted and the service was great but you DO leave the store wondering if you could have done better on price.
Looked at several things at ARB
shop and they just say "that's the price mate" and I walk away. At least the TJM guys will give you SOME discount if you push them.
Yes those two top chains do have everything and it is on display and the advice is probably good too but again - is it worth the extra???
Cheers
Muddy

Muddie,
I know you are a member of an affiliated 4wd Club. Show your
membership card to any of the big shops, or Toyota Spare Parts in
Adelaide and they will discount.
Can I also suggest you get a quote from
Adelaide Truck and 4wd Spares - you will find their stuff is equal quality and compare their prices to the others before you buy. No affiliation etc etc
Cheers
Phil

I know the owner personally and I have seen him take every bit as much interest in people he doesn't know as he does me. He is confident in his business and products and will stop at nothing to make sure his customers are satisfied. Also has heaps of knowledge and I know for a fact he spends weeks each year doing multiple 4wd trips away. I agree with the price thing though, but I feel that is a reflection on the quality of their products rather than stinginess.
D-Jack
p.s. got a dual battery system from them, and new springs/shockers, but not every mod on the 4by because of the price factor! No problems with either of these mods.
