Has anyone fitted a turbo to their Hilux twin cab 3 litre diesel 2002? Is it worth it and have their been any disapointments?

You have to fit a snorkle and H\D clutch to get the full benifit out of the turbo but I think they are worth it for passing alone....

A mate of
mine fitted a 2nd -hand Turbo to his 2001 3litre Hilux. It was fitted by a
well known 4x4 company. He had no end of trouble with it but finally got the thing sorted out. When towing a camper trailer the turbo causes the engine temp to rise significantly at 100kph and the only way to combat that is to reduce the road speed. Cheers, Willem
