I got back from a car tour around southern England and Ireland a week or two ago . While I was there I spotted this monster. A family had brought it over from the continent for a tour .
Very comfortable I would not like to have travelled some of those narrow country lanes in it though . Fuel costs would have bee high as
well , but I guess they saved this on which was hideously expensive over there .
I hope the photo appears - if not I will try again .......and again.......and then I will ask Gramps again how to do it !

Lindsay Fox (as in LINFOX transport) has one of those old Mercs in his lounge room at home.

There's a Merc Unimog around here set up very similar. From chattin with the guy, it was a NATO (or something) comms. unit in Europe. He drove it here out from France.
