Yep, you beauty. After deciding to head back home due to some issues(like heat) ,we booked the Spirit of Tasmania to sail back home, started selling some of our furniture here etc, then work put a offer to me that the whole family liked and agreed to so we aint going home.Yipeeeee.
We are going home for a couple of months after christmas, then I'll come back end of Jan and wife and Kids will come back end of Feb(as the weather cools).
Ill be towing our camper back if I dont get flooded out of
Kununurra and the family will fly back.So we got another year of touring the
Kimberley and finding those seceret spots.

G'day Mick,
a number of us have been on this
forum for a while and it is good to get follow ups like this and hear how people are going. They will remember Nick (Tas) making the move to become Nick (
Kununurra) early this year, a big change for him.

Hi Nick
Good news
Tell wife to leave it until end of March as it only starts to cool down in K around mid April.
Enjoy the
Kimberley.
Cheers

Was feeling for you on the original post, but recognising that family comes first:
Please give that family of yours a big squeezy hug for agreeing to support your dreams & wishes, and effecting a comprimise that (from here) keeps everyone satisfied.
Cheers
PS .............Been in K when it's hot also................and that's both
Katherine &
Kununurra.
Note that
Katherine in my spelling above is pronounced Kath'r- ine...that traditional white fella way of saying the name of the town on the Stuart H'way.

I know what you mean.We had been through here three times previously and each time we always thought it would be a great place to live.In the end we decided if we didnt do it now we never would so as they say ,the rest is history.

You do realise that this is just a plot to get you sucked into becoming a full time WA citizen ! If you stay much longer you will not be able to afford to leave. Just think of the cost when you venture south, you will have to buy some shoes and a shirt to start. Then theres blankets, coats, jersey, socks etc etc.
