I have searched, googled and looked but cannot for the life of me find any back
seat buddies for the kids. I am after those things that hang off the back of the front seats for the kids to put books, pencils, drinks etc etc in. I have seen the cheap things from auto shops but am after something a little more technical, maybe even with a fold out tray.
Is there anyone out there who travel with kids who can point me in the right direction???
Happy kids is happy travelling.

A fold out tray wouldn't be good in an accident.

blown4by,
kinda agree, a tray would not be good in an accident. I am sure I have seen these on the market somewhere though. Planes have trays :-)

Yeah when you hit the ground at 500 km/h the presence of a tray in front of you is probably not going to make a lot of difference.

Hi toytruck
when we did our trip across to
Canberra and back from
Perth last christmas we bought one of the michelle sacs organizers and a fold down tray thing from one of the auto stores.
the michelles sacs product was wonderful but we took the fold down shelf back because it was crap.
In the end we took two stable tables for the kids to lean on in the car and they also served other purposes when camped.

You can get them from www.essentialadditions.com.au for around $25 plain black or
bright colours. This is actually one of those party plan type things but will probably tell you how to order or if there is someone in your area :-) ....no, I am not in any way associated with the company!!!
