Havn't got
mine in front of me for reference but here goes.
There are 3 full length panels and one half size panel.
Two of the full size panels have a groove formed only half length.
The other grooves are full length
Fit the full length grooves together then fit the half length panel in the half long grooves.
Fit the grate (flame diffuser) over the lugs inside. The grate is fitted as one piece, do not seperate.
Put the gas ring under the grate.
Put the
camp pot on top side of grate.
Put something inside
camp pot.
Light gas ring.
Put lid on campovenmate.
Wait till food is cooked
Remove lid from campovenmate.
Remove cookpot.
Serve and eat food.
Works for me.

I'll save the first damper/bread/scones from burning to a crisp.
With this system you will only need a small flame once everything is hot.
For bread & scones about half height to 3/4 height flame, outer ring only.
I only use inner gas ring when pre-heating.
