Why not use ROH 16" rims at about $110 each and then get 285/75 BFG MTs or Goodyear MTRs. You should get the tyres for around $270-280 each.

Hard Yaka,

We have fitted dozens of these tyres with no problems, i even just fitted some to my own new hilux, i was sceptical about them at the start but great value for money, 16" usually $180 fitted.

I have 5 (yes five), lovely new 17 inch patrol rims sitting in the shed. Travelled a mere 50 km before they were removed from the patrol.
Asking price for a new Alloy rim in 17 inch size from a dealer here in Perth is only $1,217.00
Yep, i chocked when i saw the price as well.

meow.

I have been running Terra Trac Hercs on a 3ltr Patrol for around 15000kms averaging around 120km/h (NT), and they still look like new - and well priced at $170 fitted (for 265/70 R16). They also handled the rocky stuff pretty well too.
