I had a Unichip fitted in March after 10,000km (25% city, 64% highway, 11% unsealed surfaces), during which my 2005 Prado recorded an average of 14.4l/100km.
Over 20,000km since then (16% city, 75% highway, 9% unsealed) it has recorded 13.5l/100km. That's a 7% improvement in fuel economy.
I did not notice a great improvement in driveability, but that may be because its use is quite varied.
I have not had an exhaust upgrade done, nor have I had the Unichip mapped for premium fuel. All this running has been on unleaded.
Hope that helps.

At a very rough guess I reckon your 7% improvement in fuel economy is probably due to the extra 11% of highway driving you did. A 4L V6 in a heavy vehicle is going to use a fair bit more fuel in stop start city traffic. I say this from experience in driving a 5.7L V8 which can get 9L/100km on the highway and over 20L/100km in the city

Unichip will give you more power/torque down low. So the car feels easier on
the go, specially if you put bigger diameter wheels/tyres on. While some had
experienced better fuel economy I dind't notice any... This is with a standard
exhaust.
