Still fishing hard in NZ at the moment however the mind turns to the new truck at home waiting for me to kit out, rubber is the first thing as these trucks only come with 245x75x16 tyres have read a fair bit about the use of my choice 285x75x16 on dieselplace.com and would seem that an E load rating is required, just popped out in the cold to look at my tyres on the Patrol and as i thought they are D rated "load this is " do BFG do a E rated tyre in Ausralia, i might add that the rims on the stock truck are only 6inches so have ordered 8inch to start with i read that in the states they are the ones with the black markings on and can take 85psi whearas the D rated ones only take 65psi.
Had 5 inches of snow on the Patrol & Caravan last Thursday " boy was it cold great for fishing.
