What year did Nissan introduce electronic gadgets in TD42 models? In particular the fuel pump area. I am looking at buying a 97 Safari but not too keen on fancy bits. Any advice? Thanks

Safaris are the imported ones in Australia, and have more elect gadgets than Mr Gadget... EG Elec Headlight wipers, stuff like that!
Have a good look at it first.

Im in NZ. Safaris are much more numerous than Patrols here and are generally higher spec but I am unable to find details about various models ex-Japan.
