Tyres - 4 runner & patrol - interchangable?

Ok i have access to some almost new muddies on a friends hilux his wheel size is

31 x 10.5r 15lt load range ( all the descriptions he can find on his tyres )

On on my nissan patrol ( 4.2 ) LT265/ 75r16 119/1165 8PR

can anyone tell me if these tyres are interchangeble

HIs car is a write off and will be handed back next week. any andvice please

In short= Nope, One set is 15" and the other 16" and I would think that the rims would not fit either.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

His tyres are around 30mm smaller in diameter too.

You don't say which model 4.2 patrol you have BOC

That tyre used to be a standard size on 4.2 GQ patrols , but as per other posts
they won't go on your 16inch rims of course ,and his rims won't suit your car, on the bright side the rims you need are real cheap and should be able to pick some up at $25 or so each.

Given the choice, I'd stick with the stronger 265/75R16 tyres. The load index on his 31x10.5R15 will most likely be 109, which may be too low for your vehicle.
