Steca Solar Reg Code E16

Hi to all

I have just refitted up my solar on my van and all seemed fine .After driving 2 hours E16 was flashing my book dosent have his code in it .My vehicle has charge wires to the van as well could this be making it freak out (solar and car charge at same time )

Can only say that I hope your Steca is still under warranty ,, looked in my handbook and a E16 dose not exist as you say , BUT and its a big BUT ,you cannot have 2 forms of charge going into the controller at the SAME time , Having the car alt and the solar going into the Steca "blows" the circuits ,, did mine by starting the generator before disconnecting the solar panels , hope your on good terms with your Steca supplier as it realy is not a warranty job , as they say ,"all else fails ,read the instructions ! "

The car charge goes to the battery and the solar goes to reg then battery.Just wondering if it didn't like the two sources of charge at the same time.My supplier set it up this way on my last van.I will take it in to them next week if i can't work it out.
