I'm covering my eyes and hoping its a dud :-))
TD 79series is still the best thing on the market for me - only LandCruiser to have 1HD-FTE, rigid front end, H150F gearbox and a heap of character to go with it all.
I've heard the replacement will have a single turbo V8 (200series is twin turbo), and I've heard that airbags will eventually be an option, and it will be wider, and the troopie will have 4 doors. None of that gets me excited.
I'll go back to the shed and make some more stuff for my 79series......hehehe

The new wagon sounds like an oversized Prado - same
suspension, heavy vehicle, with a V8 diesel. Won't want to take that bush. Sounds like a city vehicle to me :-)))
