Set up Camp after Lunch & a Few Ales Gee I was Dry, then back to the Pub to support the owner ,I am so good hearted.
Then it was time for Tea which was a couple of Policeman Eyes, with a little Ale------- At 6pm the show got on its way. It was time to change to Bundy & Coke & in joy the Show,
There were 6 small pigs running in all the races total of 5, it was fun to watch , There was a Auction run be for each race all pigs were sold between $90 & $120 I think some were sold for a lot more in the last race as I missed the Auction, all Auction Money was raised for The Flying Doctors Service . There was Country & Western singing , dancing & more drinking between races. A large Fire Works Display, and it was a great crowd all having a great Time. I was ready for Bed by 11o'clock so I found my bed .
The next morning packed up after bacon & Eggs for Breakfast & left around 9.30am & headed for St George 41 Klm away & filled up with diesel, Had a good look at there irrigation system had a bit of a yarn with one of the Locals walking his dog along the town weir park. CLC50,

Good to see you had a great weekend, did you happen to get any of that free beer thats advertised there???? LOL

I didn't know that they had changed the name of the Moonie Hwy to the Adventure Hwy.

Was the bacon from the losing or winning pig??

Cheers Kev

Well it is call Adventure Way & Moonie Hwy I believe this Road is adventure . I follow a empty road Train & the poor Burg--- had to fight it all way ,it bounced every way from lane to lane.
The beer was on to-morrow so I missed Out . One Day to Late & one Day to Early.

The worst bit would have been 50km either side of Moonie, due to the melon holes that are all over the place in that area. I heard that it makes road building very difficult as the melon holes continually subside causing a less than smooth ride.

To bad about the beer

THat Mooney highway is boring.

Good to see you had a good run.

Been to St George myself a few times for work for a day visit.
Usually only need to a few hours work.
Turn around and back to the south side of Brisy.

Like StGeorge, interesting place.

Never tried the Millmeran way, do you think it is quicker?
