General question people, have a small fleet of 6 vehicles and am buying oil in bulk, so time i searched for a discount set of filters from one supplier.

The only ones I know of are Baldwin, Fleet guard, and Donaldson.

Are there others and which are the best value for money.

Possible supplies in SA or a good posted service from somewhere, would be a help too.

Cheers Pesty

all of your choices are good . my personal preferance is fleetguard they seal all there filters before shipping (just a personal choice) valvoline filters are really good value as well available @ supercheap & other selected stores . reccomend staying away from ryco as the quality has dropped off lately (i have seen a couple of seperations) I think valvoline filters are allso available in 6 packs for common makes @ a discount price. Warning stay away from no name e bay specials that look like there in a genuine box . I bought some & found some of the air cleaners had pin holes in them . hope this helps...666toy

I usually get silverline in bulk (6 off) from repco.
Silverline is Repcos own brand name, and my mechanic reckons it got a good report in the trade magazine a few months ago.
About 2/3rds the price of Ryco, and half the price of the genuine.

Pesty,
I'm like you - we have about 6 cars in the extended family, and I service them.
I buy the Nissan stuff in quantity, so the guys at Main North Nissan give me trade. Pulsar filters are $7 each - cheaper than the aftermarket stuff!

Also, Adelaide Truck and 4wd spares on Regency Rd are good for any aftermarket stuff. Just mention 4wd club, and they will look after you. I also buy oil there in 20litre drums - last lot was $66 for 15W40 Ci-4.
