I know there probably is a simple answer to this dumb question that is probably on the screen staring me in the face. When someone does a follow up post to a post I have replied to how do I relate the numbers attached to the e-mail copy that is sent to me to the original post. The numbers are not the original post number but a reply number and sometimes it is not obvious which post the reply refers to especially if I have replied to more than one post. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, right, now I think I know what you're saying, Maybe??
Anyhow when you get the email notifying you of the reply there is a link in the email in blue that you can click on and it takes you directly to the question that the email refers to.
