Hi all,
I am coming to the end of planning a few weeks away in January and have arrived at a point where I need to find somewhere to
bush camp for a few days at a time. The part I am stuck on is where I am heading from
Coffs Harbour to Noosa and want to break the trip up with some
camping somewhere in between, and have 2 or 3 nights to fill up.
I've been reading thru a lot of books but not finding what I'm looking for and hoping those with knowledge in these areas may be kind enough to assist. I also think a lot of my books are getting a bit too outdated!
We're towing a semi offroad caravan, and looking for somewhere to put the feet up in the bush near a river or dam with reasonably easy access. No pet on this trip. Prefer to be able to use a quiet (yamaha) generator for an hour or two during the day to top up the batteries, but can do without if not permitted.
Now I know about the no generator thing in National Parks, but NSW State Forests you tend to be able to. So whats the story in QLD or northern NSW with the parks and is there a general rule?
Appreciate any help or info available.
Regards,
Flux.
