What a wonderful site this is? Thanks to all the people who replied to my question re dealing with our dog who has just had a leg amputated.
As we read all the stories we felt for your loss/ near losses. We do apologise for bringing back the bad memories, that definately was not our intent, we just wanted some help, thanks again for sharing those stories with us, it has given us hope with our much loved Simba.
A special thanks to Paulnlou for the mountain of information that he has given us and all the recommendations. We have Simba home again with us, she is very sore and sorry for herself but is feeding, walking on her 3 legs extremely well. we now have the wait for results of the biopsy.

Thanks again to you all

Cheers

I always say that I want to come back as one of my wife's dogs. They get a much better deal :))
One of them is only alive courtesy of her credit card. He's had a few cancers cut out etc.
Good luck with your beloved friend.

Simba says thanks to Rusty, she also loves Rusty's work clobber!!!!

Simba is doing well this afternoon, she is starting to get a bit more oompf in her, we had a rough night last night, slept on the floor with her, she couldn't get up on our bed (her usual place to sleep) so what else could we do???????

Cheers
